TR with EGGSHELL
The TR material with Eggshell is an innovative solution that seeks to incorporate eggshells, rich in calcium carbonate, as a white filler for the production of soles, promoting sustainable practices and the circular economy.
The biggest challenge in using eggshells is the presence of organic matter and proteins that can affect the final color of the products.
To get around this problem, we adopted a mechanical process of separating the undesirable elements, instead of calcination.
Furthermore, the eggshell is ground into different particle sizes, ranging from <50 microns to >1mm, allowing adaptations according to the needs of the production process.
